In our busy world it is easy to forget the benefit of conscious stillness. We live in a culture of “do this….” for our health, our fitness, our kids, our business, our success,
our home, our diet, our colleagues….and so on and so on.

I invite you to take the time to simply be. To relax in stillness, set an intention to find your balance and centre and to give yourself the time to nurture you.

This relaxation is only 10 minutes long and could fit in to your daily routine and if you practice with me in the real life maybe you can remember a time whilst listening when you think, you may have felt yourself drop off in to a realm of deep restorative rest.

Yoga Classes.

I offer yoga classes in Thornhill, Dumfries and online to suit all abilities, ages and levels of experience; including Vinyasa, Hatha and restorative style yoga.

Yoga For Sport.
Sundays 9-10:45am / Wednesdays (Bannatynes) 7-8:15pm

A restorative dynamic yoga class aimed at sporty types - whatever you love to do.

  • From hill walking to cyclists, triathletes to gym bunnies! Use yoga to keep your body injury free of aches and stiffness associated with sport.  Focusing on hips, hamstrings and core you’ll get a great stretch, find core strength and improve on your mind body connection helping you to get the most out of your sport of choice.

Chair Yoga.
Thursdays 11:30-12:30pm

An all access class using, you guessed it a chair for sitting and standing and balance.

  • 60 mins

  • Improving posture, range of movement, strength and balance. A lovely way to access your breath with movement for improved health and well being.

    Please note this class is in the upper hall at the Thornhill Community Centre, so a warm up of climbing the stairs!

Gentle Hatha Vinyasa.
Thursdays 1:30-2:45pm

Don’t let the wobbles -mental or physical- spoil your day. This all round gentle class will nurture you and improve your posture.

Yang/Yin

In this balancing class we seek to combine these complementary qualities by combining movement and stillness.

1:1 Yoga Classes.

I offer 1:1 yoga at my therapy room at Drumlanrig Castle or at your home.  From beginner to advanced yogi a 1:1 session is invaluable. With the session tailored to your individual needs, body and mood. Learn nuances and modifications appropriate for your body, gain confidence to join a class or enjoy having that one to one focus all for yourself.
